1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
- Contact details: full name, email address and phone number.
- Trip details: pickup and drop-off locations, dates and times, flight information (airline, flight number, arrival or departure details), number of passengers, luggage, child seat needs and any comments or special requests.
- Payment information: the payment method selected and the transaction status. Card and account details are processed directly by our payment providers (such as PayPal); Aura DR Transfers does not receive or store full card numbers.
- Communications: messages you send us through our forms, email or WhatsApp.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, device and pages visited, recorded automatically by our hosting, security and website tools.
3. How we use your information
- To quote, confirm, coordinate and deliver the services you request, including airport pickups and flight monitoring.
- To communicate with you about your reservation, changes, reminders and support.
- To process payments, deposits and, when applicable, refunds.
- To keep the website secure, prevent fraud and spam (for example, with Google reCAPTCHA) and improve its performance.
- To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- To send you information or offers only when you have agreed to receive them; you may opt out at any time.
4. Legal basis
We process personal information to perform the service you request (contract), with your consent where it is required, to pursue our legitimate interest in operating and improving a safe service, and to meet our legal obligations. We handle personal data in accordance with Dominican Law No. 172-13 on the protection of personal data and, for visitors from regions with their own privacy laws (such as the European Union), we apply the rights described in this policy.
5. Who we share it with
- Drivers and operational partners assigned to your service, who receive only the information needed to complete it.
- Payment providers, such as PayPal, to process your payments.
- Technology providers that power the website and our communications: website hosting, email, Google Maps (address search and routes), Google reCAPTCHA (security) and WhatsApp (messaging).
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, staff or third parties.
Aura DR Transfers does not sell personal information. Some of these providers may process data outside the Dominican Republic; in those cases we work with recognized providers that apply appropriate security measures.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
- Essential cookies: keep the website working, remember your language preference and support the booking process.
- Third-party services: Google Maps and Google reCAPTCHA may set their own cookies to provide their features.
- Analytics and advertising: if we use tools to measure visits or the performance of our campaigns, we will do so in line with applicable law and, where required, with your consent.
You can manage or delete cookies from your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect parts of the booking process.
7. How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as it is needed to provide the service and handle related questions, and for the periods required by tax, accounting and other legal obligations. After that, we delete it or anonymize it.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including secure connections (HTTPS), restricted access and trusted providers. No online transmission is completely risk-free, so we encourage you to share sensitive information only through our official channels.

Our services are booked by adults. When minors travel, the adult making the reservation provides their information and is responsible for it.
